Nomad Lair system?

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Nomad Lair system?

Maps based on FL Datastorm show an Omicron Major system and an Omicron Minor system accessible via jumphole from Omicron Beta.

However, in the SP story, the Battleship Osiris takes you to an unnamed system to invade the Nomad Lair and get the power supply. A jump hole from that system leads to Omicron Minor, where Planet Toledo (the Order base) is located. From Omicron Minor you take a Nomad jump gate to the system with the Dyson sphere, the Nomad home world. This connection isn't shown on the Datastorm maps.

Where does the name Omicron Major come from? Is it the system that contains the Nomad Lair, or the Dyson sphere, or both? Or is the Lair in Omicron Beta? How do these two or three systems relate to the rest of Sirius? Could be there is no authoritative way to sort out this geographical dilemma. If there is one, I'm interested to learn the answer.

Lair is in omicron beta, lair core is in omicron major, both dysons are in omicron major.
Microsoft just couldnt come up with original names so they just used those to remind themselves, you dont see it in-game so it dosent matter anyway

There are four Omicron Major systems: the FP7 system (yes, there's a special system for that cutscene), the "inside" of the Nomad Lair with the power cell, the outside of the Dyson sphere and the inside. There are also two Omicron Beta systems: the one we all know with Ruiz, and the second one with the Lair

Stupid really!

You start mission 12 (The Nomad Lair) in Omicron Beta (different to the navmap O, but once you exit that lair with the Power Cell, you're in Omicron Major (check the loaction in the autosave), and then jump to Omicron Minor where Planet Toledo is!

So that's 3 systems added to your system count that are not shown on your navmap. Along with outside and inside the Dyson Sphere, that makes 5 systems added to your system count that aren't shown on the navmap.

Of course, Alaska and Tohoku are only acessible during the SP campaign, but are shown on the navamp................

There are also the two Unknown systems that aren't shown. Makes 7

The 'standard' Unknowns aren't shown on Datastorm? Really? Wow, you'd have thought it'd cover those. On reading that I snooped around the Lancer files and the 'FL Roadmap' shows not only Omicron Minor and Major (one of them, lol), but two Unknowns too. Hard to believe they'd forget something like that, unless they just didn't want to show them. Or didn't know they were there, lol

No, no, Datastorm will have the systems on it, it just won't show the connections. What happens in the mission when you board the Osiris in New York after Alaska is a forced relocation. You don't use a jumpgate or hole to get there, the game just dumps you there for the purposes of the next mission
