how do you find a job?

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

if you go to any station or base, and then head to the bar. In the bar you will see people. They sometimes have icons over their heads if you hover the mouse over them (like question marks, stars, and money) The dollar sign means that they have a job offer. Also at the top of the bar screen, you see the bar icon (beer glass) beneath which you usually see two icons (may only be one). The briefcase icon is for jobs offered. Click on here and you will open a window complete with descriptions, difficutly level and amount of moola paid out if completed. The other icon is about the news

but you can go any way you want from where the story ends. That's the great thing bout Freelancer. You can do whatever you like. Don't stick to the known systems: go and explore, there are a lot of great things to find for you like wrecks hidden bases, hidden jumpholes and ewven hidden systems.

Have fun off line and try out some mods. After that, but only when you think you're getting bored, try multiplayer. Then have like the same amount of time, just as much (or even more) fun

Have fun!

You were gone?

Actually, the dollar sign is a bribe. If they have a suitcase, that's a job.

Dark Helmet: Gimme that, you petty excuse of an officer!
Now hear this: LUDICROUS SPEED!!!
Col. Sanders: Sir, hadn't you better buckle up?
Dark Helmet: Eh, buckle this! Ludicrous speed...GO!!!

Why do the dollar sign people never try to bribe ME? I can be bought cheap. Same with the "i" people. I have information to sell by nobody wants to buy.
