Speed control (lack of)

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Speed control (lack of)

I don't know if this happens to any of you, but I have this speed problem (if you can call it a problem)
Sometimes when I'm running a mod, when I press Z (engine kill) my speed suddenly increases until it reaches 999 on the readout. I really have no idea why this happens, and it helps sometimes, but not if I want to cut my engines.
This happen to anyone else? Or any advice on the subject?

Thanks guys

This happens to ships with two engines, (not exhaust nozzles, actual engines) because engine kill messes around with your mass properties, or something like that. If it's a mod which allows you to buy engines, mount only one, see if that works. If not, get a ship with only one engine.

WTS does or did that with some of the custom ships with the 1.2 version no idea if it still does with the fixes.

Just poor coding so report the bug to the mod maker

Thanks for this, guys. But I guess you can see how this would come in useful sometimes!
