HELP! Omega 41

I have a problem with which I need your help. I'm trying to get to the Zoners Freeport 9 in Omicron Theta. My journey to get there includes the Omega 41 system, which has a jump hole to Omicron Theta. However, there are lots of hostiles in there that I have quite a bit of trouble defeating in my Anubis... So I don't have time to look for the jump hole. Could someone please look in his nav-map and tell me in which part of Omega 41 the jump hole to Omicron Theta is? Thank you.

You can go to arbiter.de for a full set of maps, that'll show you the jumphole. Or, remember that you can get to Theta from the Sigma system cluster where you're likely to encounter less resistance. Welcome to TLR

I'd recommend going through the Sigma's. It's not that hard to find, just follow the patrolpaths (look them up on the navmap).

And welcome

I'd recommend going ot the spoilers forum where you shuold find the location of every jumphole and more

Welcome to the TLR. I'd definatly reccomend going through the sigmas if you're stuck in an anibus. There are a few things to watch out for though; Crosairs, Outcasts, and lots of explosive gas fields.

Why are you flying Anubis ?! Good God... Go back to Rheinland, earn some money bu killing bad boys and then buy a Banshee - it is tougher, much more agile than Anubis and it doesen`t even cost much... but the real deal, and you can trust me on this one since i`ve played with it on several servers with an INSANE lag, is a Banshee with 4 GMG Sunblast A`s - this is, by far, the toughest light fighter combo i`ve discovered so far.

Yeah, your chances of surviving the Omicron systems in an Anubis -- especially if you don't consider yourself an excellent pilot -- aren't too good. In a nippy LF, maybe, but the Anubis is too... bulky. You can't miss it when you shoot at it, and the weapons they use in those systems won't give your shields much of a chance to recharge. Get a better ship -- you'll find exploring far easier. Not just regarding combat, either, some radioactive areas won't give a weak hull much of a fun ride. Try a VHF, or a Rheinland ship.

The Anubis is such a cool looking ship -- and since the Order specially designed it, you'd figure it is hot stuff. However, you soon find there are some big boys out there who can beat the cr*p out of your little Anubis. Best to get a more powerful ship when you can. I found that out when the Red Hessians shot off both wings of my Anubis, costing me some good guns and nearly killing me too! I got back to friendly space with just one red rectangle left in my hull strength.

Hehehe, I found out a similar way, when I first discovered the Corsair's had something bigger than a Legionnaire -- the Titan :S

I agree that the Anubis is a cool looking ship. I took the "Order Elite" ship that's in the IONCROSS Editor and modified it a little more. A Class 10 Anubis with good armor kicks ass.

If you're going through Omega 5, you could buy a Centurion at the Cadiz base (Corsairs), or a Stilletto at the Ronneburg base (Red Hessians).
One of those babies would easily get you anywhere you wanted. I went Sabre and Nomad hunting in a Centurion in Alpha once... Ah well, the inportant thing is that I made it out alive xx).

And for the record, the Anubis is the ugliest piece of turd I've ever seen. It was built out of bloody dustbin lids!

Great computer!
What kinda chip you got in there?
A dorito?

Everything Corsair said I agree with. Especially the Anubis being ugly, lol. I can't stand the thing...
*shudders*
Can't believe I'm agreeing with my enemy...
