Sigma 19
If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

I have been trying to reach the Hades and Cerebus Planets using the jump gate between Kyushu and Sigma 19. My problem is that even with a high number(14) of shields once I step my foot on Sigma 19 I am destroyed in a matter of seconds by enemy ships. Is there another way to reach Sigma 19? What do I need to do to reach the Sigma 19 planets safe?
Hades and Cerebrus aren't dockable, so I don't know why you're looking. Second, when you see enemies run[b/. Make sure you have as many countermeasures you can buy, for their cruise disruptors. By the way, the Omicron Beta (Outcast system) jump hole (I think) is somewhere near there.
Dark Helmet: Gimme that, you petty excuse of an officer!
Now hear this: LUDICROUS SPEED!!!
Col. Sanders: Sir, hadn't you better buckle up?
Dark Helmet: Eh, buckle this! Ludicrous speed...GO!!!

@Jsantos, shouldn't that be 'Jump gate from Honshu'?!
Unless you're in a high level ship, STAY AWAY !!
The Donryu Cloud is very radioactive, and so eats your hull very quickly. Coupled with Outcasts in Stiletos (the ships and not the shoes - or maybe they wear stiletos whilst flying their ships? Kinky!) packing Wyrms, makes for a very deadly environment.
Hades and Cerebus, although undockable, are very spooky !

I think the guy's looking for the same reason we all have -- just 'cause they're there . Everything about most of the places in FL inspire you with awe, even the various debris fields.
Sigma-19, I remember the first time I entered that place. I was still quite a n00b at the game, and it scared the pants off of me. Especially when I scanned the Centurions from my little Anubis and saw their stats, lol. I didn't die though. I escaped with cruise mode. My advice to you, is to practise till you're pretty good, get a rough-and-ready ship like the Sabre or Hammerhead, and go back and kick some ass, lol. Seriously, you need a tough ship to explore, especially for the first time. It makes life easier if you try and get neutral with everyone first.

You just have to know how to use the geography to your advantage. I frequent Sigma 19 because it is one of the fastest passages into outcast territory. I had a horrible time with it at first not because of the criminal factions, but because of the GMG... guess they got tired of me slaughtering them in droves in Beta but in anycase there's usually someone to annoy you. I get flak from Samura too at that jump hole. In fact all of Kusari hates me. But that's beside the point. Anywhere around Gas Miner Ogashawa there are the handy little explosive gas pockets, which the AI is very inept at avoiding. Most of the time just fly into one and sit tight while the computers blow themselves to oblivion. As far as the area around hades... its a vicious place without allies, however if you're quick enough on your feet, or keyboard in this case, the anubis should be enough to get you through. After all, I financed my first read VHF by flying missions in Omega 41 in an anubis. Just use thruster/ engine kill to get away. most of the time the AI has bigger fish to fry and they will let you go after a short while. If this is too much just come at the planets from the northern side and take a far loop around. May be worth your time.
