Freeport 7

Hey guys. I was just exploring, trying to find FP7 and I think I found it in the TAU 37 system, you know, the system with only one reserch station hidden in the debris? Well, i found a wreck there but im not sure if it is fp7.

Go back and read all the messages in the neural net. You'd be surprised at the information you found there.


p.s. The wreckage is out there. Won't say where. I do wish the game would tell what some of the other destroyed stations are. You'll encounter parts of them in various systems, but no explanation of what they were. Just sort of "decoration" in the game, I presume.

Lancer Pilot, Freeport 7 was in the tropel star system in the sigmas... 17 or 19.

Fport 7 was in omicron major, I'm sure of it. You can't get to those systems normally, but some mods allow you to do so.

You're right scout. I downloaded "Trent's New Start" by chips and it said that I was located in Omicron Major.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

it isn't in Omicron Major, read your first few entries in the log.

Trent leaves leeds, and later finds himself in the Sigmas. Sigma 17 is metioned.

(It doesn't actually tell you where Freeport 7 is)

Yea, but Chips' mod puts you in Omicron Major. But I believe I saw a wreckage in sigma 17.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

If you know how, you can modify any system you want.

He most likely moved a station into Omicron Major and renamed it 'Freeport 7', just because you only go into Omicron Major once, and that's in the story. And in the mod, you don't have the story missions, right? Therefore, Omicron Major is unused otherwise.
