best factions

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Funny thing about their Kyoto base is that they don't sell any Blood Dragon Dragons!!!
Then you wouldn't have to go to a Kusari battleship to buy one. That would defeat the purpose of having restricted places to buy it.

Anyone notice how offensive-based the Outcasts are and defensive-based the Corsairs are? Corsair ships have tons of extra armor, but Outcast ships have the 360 degree turret, and more heavily damaging, more accurate weapons.

The interesting thing is that the Blood Dragon Dragons are actually not the same ship as the standard Kusari Dragon...

I've allied with every faction at sometime or another. They're all fun to fly for. But, I have to say, my favorite weapons/ ship combo is a Sabre with GMG Skyblast B photon guns and a Bounty Hunter Buckshot particle turret.

about factions,... has ZONERS enemies?,.. Strongers : Outcasts and Corsaris,. but dificult is to be neutral,.

Don't join the Golden Chrysanthemums-they're Kusari's version of the Lane Hackers(always sucking up to Outcasts). The Blood Dragons are pointless.
I would probably go with the Bounty Hunters Guild- they're everywhere.
I still think the best Factions are the Corsairs and the Outcasts.
I prefer the Corsairs (hence my name). The Outcasts are pathetic. I mean let's face it- they start off in an incredibly fertile world with a resource(cardamine) that doubles their life-span AND can be sold for massive profit to practically everywhere. They have it easy. The Corsairs were dumped on a barren world. With NOTHING. And yet they grew to be one of the most powerful factions in Sirius. Probably THE most powerful. Also, the Corsairs are enemies with all Criminals, so you have more targets. Also, by killing these criminals you can be a loyal Corsair and still be allied to the House forces. Of course you can always kill a few civilians. On the side.

Outcasts are the only sector-wide(non-politically motivated) pirate faction that appreciates the usefulness of a GOOD low-level LF(Dagger). The Corsair LF flies like a brick.

Aside from petty ship squabbles, Outcasts and Corsairs are both stupid. Both had the opportunity to go legit and get help, and neither one was smart enough. But now they pull in some nice bounties when you blow them outta the sky, so all's well that ends in the wallet!

DragonBreath, thanks for your hint, but i like BIG ships with heavy guns and armor, and maneuverability is not so important for me. Yes, i tried do fly on a Valkyrie, but the Titan in many cases at all does not receive damages.

Sorry for VERY bad english

Just to put in my 2 credits, I disagree with NukeIt. The Corsair Legionaire is a great light fighter that handles like a dream. The only ships that handle better are the Drake, Patriot, and Starflier.

I'm about as pro-corsair as you get, but that's a crap light fighter. The corsairs specialise in big ships with big guns and armour. That really doesn't work on Light Fighters.

Ahh... the meaty stench of SPAM fills the forums...

This is a best faction thread, NOT a best ship thread!

As for my favourite faction, it's gotta be the GMG, as I love their weapons, especially when mounted on an Eagle *drools*

lol

Bounty Hunters are still the best- a major presence in almost every system, friendly/neutral with all legal and "shady neutral"(sort of on the edge of the law, such as zoners) factions...law enforcement that actually gets the job done. And they actually come to help when you get jumped in the middle of nowhere...probably in the hopes that they can collect the price on your attacker's head, but they're reliable anyway.

The Bounty Hunters Guild does have it's advantages, but I always find that they're not a very good Faction to "join". It's always a good idea to be friendly with them of course, but I alway prefer to join other fations while remaining friendly with the hunters. I am a Corsair, for example, but I am friendly with the bounty hunters as well. This means I get all the advantages of being a bounty hunter, but I still get to join another faction too.

It can be to your advantage to be allied with a major pirate faction in addition to the Hunters...it makes travel through the borderworlds like walking through the park, but it gets a bit boring after a while. The Hunters were more my style...I do try to keep either Outcasts or Corsairs borderline neutral when Nomad hunting, though, since that makes docking for radiation repairs easier, but the rest of the time they're public enemy #1.
