I kill xenos because it gets my rep good with just about everyone but the ones you mentioned, and just because I generally do not like them.

I only do it if they are hostile. If not, I make nice because of their base in colorodo.

The Xenos are sort of a hopeless faction. They are poor and have to scrounge for equipment. This means they are easy to kill. That's the only reason to go after them. But I agree about the convenience of their base. Nice place to unload equipment I've tractored in from hostiles.

I've yet to figure out the Zoners. They are supposed to be neutral with all factions. But with the @$%##& Bounty Hunters attacking me everywhere I go, I've found my rep has gone down the tubes with all of the "good guys" -- including the Zoners! I actually had to pay a bribe to have my rep restored with the Zoners. Otherwise, I couldn't even land on their bases. Some neutrality!

I remmember that Zoners are not just natural, they are a uniqe faction who hates killing, so if you kill and kill they will be hostile to you even.

I think that Zoners are little friendly with xeons (I have read that somewhere in these forums) os if u kill alot of Xeons Zoners will hate you faster.

@puke, with most outcast, border world types, the best way I got freindly with them, even when they were shooting me, is to attack bounty hunters and anyone attacking them when you are around them. Works for me.

If you kill Xenos then Zoners, IMG and Synth(!?!) will like you less.

I am not sure but I read some where on the forums that if you kill many xeons the zoners and IMG would like u less.

Zoners dislike...nobody! Therefore, no Zoner missions, only a bribe helps.

Zenos, zoners and other border worlds, also do not like military/navy so if you shoot the military, your rep goes up with pirates of all types

But the Bounty Hunters hate my guts and attack me on sight. They are the only faction I've fought constantly ... yet doing so was what made my rep fall with the Zoners.

My rep also went to pieces with all of the "good guys". But everybody else loves me, including both the Outcasts, Corsairs and Red Hessians. I can sail right through their battles without being bothered.

Here is a conundrum on this issue.

Once when on Ames in Kepler went to bar & bribed to fix Rogue rep. When launcehd Ames was hostile {even though Zoners near max Friendly} and began firing at me. So, did Lane rings. A few BH showed and started doing likewise. The a few shipping companies joined the party.

Never figured out why that transpired.

It is hard to soar with eagles when you fly with turkeys.

You can be totally freindly with a faction, but if you shoot their base, even by accident that group of them will be Very hostile. find them elsewhere, they are freindly. Go back to the base, they are still hostile. You can not make freindly with that base.
