How far north?? I went all the way up the planet, making sure to cover the entire area. Oh well. Off to Omicron Gamma to see if I have better luck.

The Unknown JH in omicron Alpha is surrounded by outcast wrecks. Very hard to miss really, esspecially since the cloud isn't all that big. But the Gamma one is better anyways. No rad damage and 2 planets you can dock on.

blasters. marginally better, but better firerate, so hence a better chance of hitting them.

Blasters = 4.00 refire rate
Cannons = 3.03 refire rate

Perhaps I've used em both and I prefer cannons. Just because they cause more damage when they hit compared to blasters, and u don't always hit

One jumphole in Omicron Alpha and i'm looking for one in Omicron Gamma.

Maximum Level is 38. I travel into the nomad system on Titan,cl10 shield and 6 Sunfrenzy-2 (not much power, but good fire rate and chance to hit the enemy).
I find nothing interesting in the nomad system, except many fighters, but nomads are not too tough, wing of 4 fighters do no damage to my ship.

I prefer blasters because I can use them as tracers for my TDCs.

Same here except I got tired of using them and tried cannons. Pretty much the same results. Then I got rid of 2 cannons and entered in 2 codenames. Even better!

Funny thing is that whenver I get the diamondbacks, my ship SOMEHOW dies in a tragic accident with the codenames on board.. First it was the gas pockets, second was crashing into Kurile, third was crashing into rocks, forth was dying becoz of corsairs, fifth was a crappy landing attempt.. *Sigh* oh yeah! sixth was mines!!

I believe that it is the cannons that are better. Something like ~20 hull damage per sec.

Ack. Very bad. Diamondbacks and Prometheus has a different projectile speed than Skyblasts. It will mess up your aim indicator and make it almost impossible for all of your weapons to hit the target in a single shot. Try switching the Skyblasts for Salamanca II or something else with 600m/s projectile speed.

Cannons are better. If you want to do as much damage as possible in one shot
(ie.if you're attacking slow peopleor people you're freindly with. I'd kill anyone if I thought I'd get good loot.
