SP or MP?

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

SP or MP?

I bought Freelancer the day it came out and played through the SP mission... then I put the game away as I didn't think there was any more to do and I didn't relaly have the time to devote to MP. I've just recently started playing the game again - I've tried looking for some of the things mentioned in this forum but I don't seem able to find the wrecks, weapons, etc.

My question is: are these posts related to the single-player game (after completing all the missions in the main storyline)? I'm currently level 25 and taking on the usual jobs of killing marauders, etc. but is there any point to continuing with the single-player game or do I have to play mulitplayer in order to see all the things people are talking about?

Everything in MP is there in SP except the people! ;P

At level 25 you're only half done, max is level 38.

SP has more mods, some of which change the whole game.

Wrecks and all that is available in SP, take a look in the stickies on top of this page and you'll see a list called something like complete list of wrecks/loot .
Something like that. Other stuff can be found in the other stickies.
MP is fun when you want to meet up with other players. I can reccomend it

Edit: Damn spelling.
