Rapier Turret

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

@DOOM:
The only place I know of in Liberty that sell the Debilitators is Detriot Munitions one trade lane away from Manhattan.

I base the accuracy on weapon speed. Logically, if a weapon's projectiles (or whatever) are slower, it will take longer for it to hit the target, giving it more time to evade. That's why plasma weapons are far less accurate than laser weapons.

Come on guys, kill me now! Perhaps I should be lined up and shot imediately!

@DOOM

> first check the sticky spoiler about All stats (guns, turrents ....)
Yes I did, Nomad Energy Blaster has 635/317 and CERBERUS 1173/586

>deadliest weapons
I don't know about that Excel file, but I clearly see everything from sticky spoiler. In case you hit something with 4xNomad you do 2540/1268 damage, and in my case the damage is 4692/2344! 85% more shield and hull damage! I know that probability of hitting something 4 times in not very high, but my math stands!

>and you forgot that Nomads are 0 energy, so you can fire all the time!
No, I didn't forget, I just like to see my weapon power bar jumping up'n'down

>my Sabre:
How about we meet in space and check our wrecks?

>Hull Damage/sec & Shield Damage/sec
This is the part where I agree with you, finally. Now I think it's all about refire rate. Because of it, a ship exposed to fire of 4xNomad guns for 5 seconds really gets more damage than any other weapon combo. It's just I interpret 'deadly' by weapon's amount of damage, not by some math calculations.

>Titan is slow but its your choise
Yes, it's less maneuverable, but every ship have their advantages, do they?

@[ZN-Viper

>34% more energy efficient
Don't rely on percentage, it only eats 16 more energy units. What does that mean to Class 10 ships? But now when you said that, I think I will replace my turret, let's say for economic reasons

>I would gladly sacrifice the 5 damage for that much energy efficiency
Someone sacrifices shield and hull damage, other sacrifice energy...

>I assume you meant 2nd best turret
Yes, I meant turret, but I didn't find weapon's accuracy attribute anywhere (every weapon is accurate enough if you place your target circle over the red cross while shooting on the enemy)

@Burs

other website very good could be found in TLR links:

Yes, but it takes twice as long to do the 84.7% more damage, meaning that the nomads can do an extra 2540/1268 damage totalling 5080/2536 damage, which exceeds that of the Cerebrus/Diamondback.

>I assume you meant 2nd best turret

The projectile speed is responsible for the accuracy. If a weapon's projectiles are slower, then it will take longer to reach the target, giving them more time to evade. In my experiments, I see that the weapons with faster projectile speeds (SkyBlast B, Buckshot) are easier to use and hit with than the ones with slower speeds (Nomad Energy Blaster, Salamanca II).

@ DOOM

Yes, I red that sticky spoiler first time I visited this website, but this
Excel file really knows how to lie! All the numbers are changed so that Nomad
weapons seems to be the best... just kidding you! I admit, Excel does the job
well done by those calculating. I guess I will mount some Nomad guns after all.
Nice chatting with you...

@ [ZN-Viper

>The projectile speed is responsible for the accuracy.
OK, we all know that, but when you wrote 'more accurate', it looked somewhat
funny. If you target some ship going 80m/s with a torpedo (and put circle over
red cross), of course it won't hit anything because of its speed... (and other
characteristics)

I think this thread has gotten a bit off topic.
