Rheinland been infested w/ nomads since 80 yerswar???

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

No , Rheinland was infested during a scientific expedition a few months before (I think) when some scientists were researching some asteroid in space.

BTW it's been asked already, and before posting in future, look down the page to make sure it has not been asked already.

Well, yes. According to the game everything happens after the 80 Years War.

When you kill Sean Ashcroft with King, he gives you an essay afterwards about how a "a few weeks ago, a Rheinland expedition discovered a whole new supply of these things, on an unchartered planet, in the Omicron systems". This can only be Gammu or Primus, which are both plagued by Nomads. So therefore upon returning to Rheinland, when the explorers debriefed, they would have infested their superior, and eventually just about everybody in the Rheinland government became infected!

i mean from point of view rheinland wouldve won if GMG didnt blast in sigma they were so intrested in war they couldve been infested before the expidition rheinland territory does have alot of jump holes in omgas the nomads couldve slipped by the corsaiirs/outcast becuase if you notice after you get the nomad power cell and you get in toledo the nomads have cloaking capabilties

Plus Rheinland's economy was shot all to crap after the war and were likely looking for new sources of raw resources that they could sell and bolster thier failing economy.

Zerowen, its a strange topic,
Humans are naturally curious, though naturally fearful of the unknown.
Its really a balancing act. We aren't going to be scared of venturing into the preschool toy room but we aren't going to be curious enough to sneak past that giant 12 foot Brazilian Wandering Spider just to see whats its guarding.
