I cant get rich,..!! ¿ am i stupid? (hey,hey, respect )

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

What do you mean?
There are several ways of making money: You can mine, trade or do missions.

Missions are more profittable because you can also sell the loot you gain when you kill a fighter (tractor it with Default key B ). But you need to be a good fighter because if you survive with heavy damage the profit is low.

Trading is a good and fairly save way of making money. You need to have some money to get started ofcourse, but once you can buy a full hold of valuable stuff for a low price, you can make money quite easily. Just be carefull not to die, because you loose all your cargo and thus the money you spend on it.

Mining is a low-cost operation. You mine the comodities (Coper, Water, Oxigen, etc...) by shooting the small floating astroids and tractor in (B ) the loot. Where ever you sell it you will gain a certain amount of profit. Depending on the comodity and the station/planet you sell it, the profits can be very high. (Up to 2000 credits!)

All this can be done in a fighter aswel as in a frieghter. Naturally for missions you're better of in a fighter (like the Crusader) and for trading/mining you're better of in a freighter.

Since you are still in the storyline, I sugets you stay with the fighter, because switching to a new ship costs a lot of money and the Crusader has actually a nice cargohold to make a few bucks.

When Juni calls you again to do a mission with her and you think you need more money, you can just ignore her and do missions or trade some more until you thinks you're rich enough. Juni waits forever (Man she's desperate isn't she ).

Well, hope this helped you. Have fun and stick around.

@nick you missed out one of the most fun options piracy
hang around a jump gate scan the cargo of freighters when you find a good one blow it to hell tractor the loot and get the hell away before the escorts can react
sell in a suitable (good price) location and repeat
also looting a few wrecks helps both in weps and cash

Killing transports is not going to help you rep.

Steel and Blaze, you're both right

I totally forgot about the wrecks.
They show up as red crosses on your navmap, but only when you pass them within a few (10) k distance. They're usually in criminal areas (iceclouds and such) so you might get hurt, but the weaps are good and sometimes also the loot.

don't worry about the crims, they stay mostly out of the way off wrecks... mostly if u nearby...

but it's mostly something else what can damage ur ship quit good, such as radiation and mines

I think that piracy is one of the most fun and profitable way of making money, especially when you got good rep with criminals. You don't have to kill the transport, just shoot the cargo hold, tractor, and run like hell...

you can make a million in just a few hours...i got from level 1 to 39 in half a day online; the same tricks work in the single game, too...you've just got to find the 'right trade route': an example would be from Tau 31-> Leeds, but you'll have to work out the rest ( $80,000 every 10 minutes....maybe i've said too much?)

I usually see which pirate faction is friendliest with me, then start attacking their enemies - concentrate them out

EG: Don't just constantly attack AGIERA or UNIVERSAL, let all of them have nice projectile weapons burn through their hull

Then when that faction's friendly, I slowly work on next friendliest(if neccessary and the faction I'm now friendly is not the one I want)
