the only bases in nomad territory are in the Unknown system 2, off of Omicron Gamma. Im assuming that you're in the pink space (u mentioned outcasts), and you cannot get the Nomad weapons off of the Nomads in Pink Space, only those in the other Unknown system. You'll notice two planets in this system, planet gammu (robots) and planet primus (apes - lol i know). you can however only mount weapons on planet primus, as the planet gammu equipment dealer is a stingy git (i'm assuming that's the reason lol!)

@cardamine you CAN mount weapons on BOTH primus and gammu
however you can only repair your ship on primus
the nomads will drop weapons in and sround the hole to BOTH systems
