i went to http://en.lancerplanet.com and am using their weapons database.

if you sort by maximum hull damage per second, the top 4 weapons are:

nomad energy cannon
nomad energy blaster
DIAMONDBACK
CERBERUS

I have all but CERBERUS. I _swear_ I've hit every dead fighter in 4F of Omicron Alpha, but have only gotten GUARDIANS so far. Will keep trying.

The best turret in this sorting is:

Skyblast B turrett - bought one of those from the miners, no problem.

The best L9 slot regular gun is:

Kraken Type 2 (Outcasts). I have NO idea where to get one.

Meanwhile, sorting by maximum shield damage per second, yields these guns:

Tizona Del Cid (Corsairs)
Rapier Turret (Corsairs)

I have NO idea where to get these.
