If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

It's a shipwreck...forget where, though. Not anything special, just another destroyed human ship.

Anub- damn, what IS the plural for that? Anubii? Anubises? Anubice?

Never heard of the "Ohorti ship" at all, and i've been around the universe 2 times already.

@ NukeIt , the plural for anubis is anubii, I asked a friend who is a competent english teacher.

Are you sure the plural is anubii (an-oo-bee-i) and not anubi (an oo bye)? Sure radius is radii but hippopotamus is hippopotami (close enough for a hippo). I could be mistaken, but I doubt it. Hey does that also apply for applepuss applepie?

Oooo, pretty....what do we blow up first?

"Anubi" makes no sense. "-us", not "-is", pluralizes to "-i".

"Anubii" makes absolutely no sense unless the original word is "Anubius". You can't get an "-ii" unless there's already an additional "i" in the word (as in "radius" ).

It would be "Anubes", pronounced "a new bees". This is if one insists on applying a Roman Latin pluralization rule to an Egyptian proper name used in an English context, which any linguist would tell you is silly.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with "Anubises".

With a little creative licence, I have decided that I think it's Anubi. Although Anubis is a proper noun, and there is only 1 of the original (talking about Egyptian god here), there shouldn't be more than one. Now, taking a similar word with the same ending (fungus) and the plural being -i (fungi) I, myself think that it is Anubi.

Then again, I'm an idiot.

According to the theory of evolution, I should have died a LONG time ago.

Not to nitpick or anything, but "fungus" ends in "-us" while "Anubis" ends in "-is". Not the same ending.

I'd say Anubis, apart from being the name of the Egyptian god of the afterlife with a jackals head which cannot really be plurified, is along the same lines as the words sheep, deer and to some extent fish, as fishes is also a correct plural form of the word fish.
In the case of actually altering the word to plurify it my vote goes for "a new bye", mainly because it simply sounds better the "a new buses"
