Infernal Jump Gate ques
Just a quick note, not sure anyone else hit this one yet:
When exiting a trade lane to enter a jump gate into the next system, you may notice ships spawning like crazy from behind the jump gate as you get there. They also seem to have an edge in locking down the docking (accidental rhyme .
This can prove to be somewhat painful, especially when there are 300 Outcasts or Corsairs there as well and you have to wait for 25 other ships to dock first!!!!
I believe the activation of that last trade lane en route to the jump gate is what spawns the other ships, and hence the ensuing problem.
If you use the FL Mod Manager or other speed mods, you can bypass the last trade lane entirely by simply cruising down the middle of it towards the last waypoint. Do not dock with the trade lane.
When you get to the Jump gate, VOILA!!!
No other ships are there, OR, you have priority docking. Usually I wait until the last possible second to hit the docking button (like at about 300 feet) and you zoom right into it.
I have tested this for three days now without fail. Not one other ship has taken priority docking position. Though when I utilize the last trade lane b ydocking with it, without fail there are other ships already in docking mode in front of you.
Just a hint.
