That's not entirely true; those ships are organic/grown, but they aren't the Nomads themselves.

If you played the sp you would see a Nomad coming out of the Chancellor (or whatever) when you are saving Liberty's President in the Alaska system. I can't describe them right now (some time since I played sp for the last time), but they definately aren't those ships themselves.

oh yeah the weird tentacle thing yeah i remeber now so long since i played sp though lol think i might have to make a run through the 13 missions again lol damn the mp took my life away

NOMAD:
a nomad is blue-colored thing with tentacles, some little spikes on his spine (if it has a spine lol) and a big tentacle that has something on it that looks like a perverted version of a slug's head...
It is found very often in the bodies of high-ranked military or government officials throughout the houses...
