omicron beta ? well as i spend most of my time there and i have not found it yrt id be surprised
im not saying 100% there isnt one just i have never seen it

Omicron Beta where Ruiz Base is and Omicron Beta where the Nomad Lair is are different systems. Somehow DA makes them having the same name...
After the SP missions, you can't get to the Nomad Lair's Omicron Beta unless modded.

it really is too bad they had to lock up those systems so you could only see them in SP- there's a lot to look at in them that you can't get near because of the "off course" or "you ran away" mission time-outs. Those were the systems where the most detail and eye-candy was placed, and you just breeze right by them.

Yes, this whole thing is strange............

When you leave the Osiris at the start of mission 12, you're in Omicron Beta. Yet after you leave the Nomad Lair after grabbing the power cell, it says you're in Omicron Major !! And, as already stated, the Omicron Beta in mission 12 seems to be different to the one you can travel to outside the SP campaign.

Also, in mission 11 after rescuing the president, before I docked with th Osiris, it said 111 bases visited, yet after docking 113 ?!!?!!!?!!? Why does docking with the Osiris raise the count 2 (when I've already been there also !!)?

@cupidstunt, the place where the osiris is is always div.

so the place off the osiris is instead a newer base... i know that it sound stupped...

and about that count... if u landed they first talk and talk about the next mission... after that talking ur mostly at a new place (newer base, where u not been yet, but still at the osiris). that's y ur basecount will be added with 2 instead off 1.

but still... the think about that omicron beta/nomad liar/omicron mayor mission doesn't make sence... but well it's a great game anyway

remember that annoying robot counting down the jump hole collapse? we can only assume that the jump hole actually collapsed, therefore removing the main path to omicron minor, although there is a mod somewhere that lets you get to omicron minor and major, but i havent a clue where or what it is.
