Is your ship actually damaged?

Btw, the point of the Unknown systems = great places to get Nomad weapons without radiation damage.

I was not able to get my ship repaired on either Gammu or Primus. You can sell you own items there, but they are gone when you return next time to buy something. Has anyone been able to actually repair their ship or buy anything (other than your own stuff you just sold)?
