Was it placed in the game, or did microsoft "forget" to place it?

That's one of the famous "You-know-what?-lets-leave-it-out-of-the-game-so-players-will-keep-getting-confused-and-will-continue-to-ask-questions-about-it" items.

Actually, I think Bargib himself requested such items in the game so more people would have to come to TLR

Edit: I forgot to tell you, it doesn't excist.

the most credible tale of the paralyser that ive heard was that it was meant to be released by the wreck in tau37 but due to an error which i cant remember it doesent release it
ive tried them on a server where the were enabled to buy and the are very handy but boy do they use up your cash
bottom line you will only find them on some modded servers and they require a l10 mount
