Need to replace my Baracuda?

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Need to replace my Baracuda?

Bought my Barracuda Heavy Bounty Hunter Ship (felt like Boba Fett) in the Cortez system

Want to replace it with something that can carry higher then level 6 weapons...

Next step up is the VHF's if you have enough cash try the Hammerhead{Omega 7,cost 350k}, looks simmilar to the Baracuda but handles better and has loads of fire power.

Or if your wanting lvl 10 weapons/shields then Sabre{Dresden/Alpha 560k} or Eagle{Theta 560k}

i don't like them both... barracuda and hammerhead...

if u have the money, take the falcon in rheinland, if u have less money, try to get the dragon from kusari battleships (same weapclasses as the barracuda, smaller provile and better handling).

If u c some1 in a dagger make fireballs from hunters it can be me

there are other hf s as well if you dont want to go straight to vhf
valkyrie at battleship westfallen in hamburg mounts l8 guns and costs 200k approx inc a l 6 shield 30k less without and for a bit more almost any planet in rhineland will sell you a falcon for about 20% to 30% more it has more agility and cargo than a valkyrie
stilletto is another option but not so nice

without turning this into a best ship thread, I'd highly recommend the Hammerhead after the Barracuda. There's something a little "boba" about it. I was level 32 before I reluctantly gave mine up....but its like your first good car, you never forget it

I just love the Falcon, it has great firepower and compared to the Valk handles a lot better.

First time I ever had a Falcon, I traded in my Valk, man I felt like flying a light fighter again...

one other option for an upgrade and a bit of fun is the banshee lf at many locations in rhineland its fun for a change from heavy fighters and mounts l7
weps

VHF= Very Heavy Fighter, Eagle, Sabre, Titan and Hammerhead. They can mount Lv 10 weopons and shields(except the Hammerhead, wich can mount Lv 9). As for recomended level, look at the Pilotable ship page of this site, it has alot of useful information about the ships. Though it is usally better to get a Lv or so above the minimum Lv requierments, so you don't run out of money.

...and Anubis. Just because it's class 6 doesn't mean it's not a VHF.

Hell, they were even so kind as to sell me a ship after one of my jobs with them, and I've been flying her ever since. i play the game with opensp mod so what cares what i need...

I have the list but i think i am better of ships made by modders maybe they can mount between level 1 and level 10 weapons but i don't know because someone didn't make a list of what the fighters carry in these mods so i have to test them out and to test them out i have to recommence the game, not?

I was just rambeling on the fact that they should create mods somewhat compatible with other mods and if they do, then my rambeling is just a sidenote in the annals of this thread...otherwise they can see if they can solve it (they = the modders)

i found the hammerhead in Freiburg station in Omega 7. It is a bid expensive (300k) and at high level requirement (24) .(i am now at level 20)

To get higher "specialized" craft i need to bump down my reputation with other so i get access to their bases ...(see my freighter attack question)

Ships don't get more specialized as they get bigger; they get more generalized.
