Level 5 Can''t Dock

I have just left the research station willard and returned to California Minor. I cannot dock or use the lanes. I cannot communicate with Juni or the 3 military ships. I can only fly around. Has the system partly crashed or am I looking for something particularly. How do I find and use jump holes.

Just load the mission from the time you didn't ahve the mission.

That did not work however a reformat of my system di, so I assume it was corrupt files or CODECS that I couldnt find. Thanks for your help.

It is a known bug in the game related to some incompatible codecs , the solution is either reinstall the codecs, or bump them to death
