Storyline holes

Okay if this info is already posted somewhere I can't find it. I'm looking for some help filling in holes in the Freelancer story. Is there a story FAQ out there? Specifically I'm curious as to what happened in the Texas system. Some leads hint at a trade lane disaster, also there's mention of a planet Dallas that was destroyed in some kind of massive terraforming failure. I'm also looking for more background on the 80 Year War in the Border Worlds.

well from what i know from rumours, about what happened in the texas systems was a failed jump gate experiment (i dont know to what system), well the wormhole that was created, passed through some dark matter (i think, im going from memory!) which caused the jumpgate to explode? (i know it exploded!) i think the wormhole also sucked the some of that dark matter in to the system and formed the 2 clouds that are there now.

i also i know a jump hole was created in the explosion (i wont say where it goes to thats a spoiler), it is between the two dark matter clouds. it was where the jump gate was located.
