How to get to Omicron Theta depends on where you are and who you're friendly with. First of all, you'll want to be in good with the Corsairs or Hessians, and possibly the Outcasts. There's a Bounty Hunter base in Manchester, Sheffield Station, that has some supply depots around it. There's no faster way to make friends with pirates than to pirate the BH's stuff.
Now, from Bretonia space, head to Cambridge and look for a jump hole in F6. This'll take you to Omega-5. If you aren't in good with the Corsairs, it starts getting tough here. Watch for mines. The next jump hole to look for is in D5, and will take you to Omega-41. This is not a system you want to hang around in for long, but it's unavoidable unless you want to take the long way around. The neutron star in the center of the map (the only large object in the system) throws out nasty amounts of radiation. There's a Freeport here, FP5, and a choice. You can go to E5 and look for a hole to Omicron Gamma, the Corsair home system, or you can go directly to Theta via E4. If you go to Gamma, make sure you land on Crete and take a look at the Titan, then take the hole at D3. Freeport 9 will be on the right side of the star, a grid square or two away.
