i fly mostly in fighters who can't mount class 10 gun/missiles like i flew before... doing missions in thus isn't fun anymore, it's fun if u must fight and being almost nearly death, and then killed every1 and land on the first non-hostile base to repair, buy ammo and buy nano/batts...

and what do i need in nomad territory (unknown systems) if i can't mount class 10 weaps on my ship...

FL is really unreal. You can fly 2.5 km away from a sun and still be fine.

and what about the speed...

300m/s... the speed of sound is about 340m/s... a spaceshuttle goes about 4 times the speed of sound (mach 4) if i'm right... maybe faster, but not slower...

Yeh, going by the games logic.. which puts pittberg n manhattan abotu 120k away from each other, I should be able to take an hours drive and end up on mars.. interesting

@Severance, first u need to learn ur car how to fly

You can do the exact same thing in tau-37 with the yellow dwarf(or was it medium yellow?)star. Although I am not sure why you died, I have flown out and touched both of these stars and not died. And I was even at cruise speeds and after hitting it slowly flew back and rested my ship on its surface. And as a side note you can also touch the neutron"star"(it is actually a planet) and not blow up. Of course the rad damage there is extreme so I would suggest just letting yourself die to save money

- 1. u need to buy a car
- 2. u need to buy rocket engines (the bigger the better )
- 3. u need to buy a damed lot of tape and rocket feul
- 4. buy a damned big feul-tank
- 5. tape the rocket engines to ur car...
- 6. tape also the feul-tank onto the car
- 7. launch and see how far u can go with it... and how fast...
- 8. brake when ur nearby the planet saturn...
- 9. wait for impack...
- 10. impact
- 11. burn in the saturn atmosphere (sorry)

Just one question. Do you have to go all the way back to the jumphole or can you go about halfway and turn around before these ships will appear?
