Does anyone know what planet this is??????

Guys and Gals.. please help me if you can. This is a pretty dumb question but.... when you load freelancer one of the title screens that comes up is one with a dark planet with red hot lines and circles in it. behind that planet there is a smaller planet / moon / maybe it's bigger? also there is a medium yellow/red sun?? in the background with a ring around it! I'm pretty crazy but i have searched every solar system to see that scene and i can't find it! if you can help me out please post a response!

the planet looks VERY similar to Cella Dor but that's not it because the sun has no rings around it... also it looks like VERY similar to Chisos... i mean if the sun had rings around it.. also chisos is located in a white star system so... anyways if you can find what i'm talking about PLEASE respond.... i'm starting to wonder if that is just some scene microsoft made and it's not even in the game?....

The main-menu-screen-art is not included in the game itself, just as you suspected. It looks like some planets in the game, but it's not a location in the game.

Nickless ... thanks alot man. *sighs* i just wanted to see it up close and personal. i guess i'll have to settle with Chisos... until i learn how to mod a solar system like I mod other stuff. but thanks for your post!

i thought it was a black hole... but i looked at it also a lot off times, i looked to real maked pics off space, and now i think it's a nebula

Actually, These "Arts" are actualy systems, just hidden.
Launch a CD Scaner on the FL CD and look into the .scan/system/263485/menupics/101/icps/hid.bi
It will come up with a Zip folder thingy, just Un-Zip it into the systems file in the FL Folder. Voila!

Now, you will find a Jumpgate next to Ithaca Research Station In Manhattan.
