The Hispania, dead and forgotten...

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

The Hispania, dead and forgotten...

Has anyone else found the sleeper ship, the Hispania? I have, but I'm not going to tell you where it is, or this'd be a spoiler (HAD been a spoiler, but I have changed it, and now isn't due to feedback from angry individuals, with good reason )! You can fly into it through the front, engines or the side! I was gobsmaked! Then some Bounty Hunters appeared from no-where and started shooting at it. Couldn't destroy it though... Anyway, I wasn't expecting to see it, but wow, cool, its incredible... You gotta see it!

Sorry if I spoiled anything for you, but I just had to tell someone!

Well, congratulations on your find, it's allways good to be totaly surprised like this. I was when I found the Nomads at you-know-where
But...don't do this too often, my friend. Better to post this where it belongs.

cheers

what's the Hispania?

Post Wed Sep 10, 2003 8:56 pm

Well, it WOULD have been good to be totally surprised by it, but thanks for completely spoiling it.

You should change "Sorry, but I just had to tell someone" to "Sorry, but I just had to ruin it for everyone else who hasn't found it yet."

Way to go. Next time post in the proper forum. I can appreciate your excitement, but you have effectively ruined my chances of accidentally stumbling upon it myself, and thereby eliminated any hope of me experiencing the same thrill you have.

Think next time. Grrrr.....

Why do people do that?!?!

Tawaklna, do you ever read the news? Check out the news items in stations and planets in the bars, next to the job board. They are pretty interesting sometimes. And Wap, sorry for spoiling for you, but go easy on me, I am a noob, and nobody said you HAD to read this thread! Sorry 'bout that, I'll put it in the right forum next time...

Sorry for sharing my secret with you guys, I won't do it again...

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound so harsh. It just gets annoying especially when the message about posting spoilers is right at the top of the forum index.

And in my defense, I had no way of knowing that the subject "The Hispania, dead and forgotten..." would mean the thread had a spoiler in it. Ergo, your suggestion to NOT read the thread in the first place is of little help.

At any rate, I understand you're still learning. Again, I appologize for sounding so harsh. It was just one of those instances where I had virtually no warning and all of a sudden I had read a spoiler (and a pretty cool sounding one too).

However, you have peaked my interest in finding the Hispania now...

Cheers,

Wap

Ya, it was cool to find. I saw it on my nav map tho, so I had some wrning. Didn't know you could go inside!

Besides, others have discovered the Hispania and posted it on this site. He's not the first and won't be the last. And, I thank people like this. If it weren't for of the the posts, I wouldn't have gone out of my way to bribe the outcasts to visit it in Omicron Alpha so I wouldn't have to risk getting blown out of the sky every three seconds. By the way, that bribes a risky one. 1/3 of the groups will become neutral, criminal, comercial, millitary, and otherwise. --- RR16

I made the mistake of bribing to become neutral with the Corsairs -- just before I flew (unknowingly) into the Outcasts' home system. Blew my Hammerhead to bits before I even knew who was shooting at me.

believe it or not, I only found it last week (don't get to play often)...but I thought it would have been harder to find. I took one mission from the aforementioned planet and strolled right past it on the way there. quite disappointing really.

definitely worth a look inside if you've not done already though.

as for this thread - last week I would have read it without knowing the location and would have been eeeexxxxtrreeeemely upset. it really should be in the spoiler forum.

@Utopia - maybe out of courtesy you should edit your original message and take out the gory details of its location? don't want to spoil peoples gaming do ya?

It's a pretend ship in a non-existent gallaxy that consists of code. It's cool, but it's just code. Get over yourselves. It's not worth arguing over. --- RR16
