sending group request

i only realised you could send a remote group request a couple of days ago
but i havent figured out how anyone help ?

if your the 1st group member ie you invited everyone then type /Invite nickname from console, but has to be the 1st person in the group that invited if there's already some others in the group. As the new player won't get the group chat and the group map locations if not done by the 1st.

When I invite someone, using the button on the scanner (three ships with an arrow) I allways get a message that the person I want to invite is on a mission, why?

if someones on a mission they cant join a group though they can have others join them
its a good idea to be on a mission at times as you get attacked less
and thx for the info on the remote invite

in that case i have no idea
though i once swore blind i wasnt on a mission to someone asking me to join a group only to find i was ,from about an hour previously ,when i checked
bit embarrassing really

I haven't played MP in a long time and I thought that the reason that it says that the player is on a mission could be that they have a waypoint.Find a friend to try this therory.
