Same here! I tried combo's of name, ship type and loot, but after trying 14 possibles I'm completely stumped. Guess I'm just not as bright as I used to be...

Any tiny hint would be awesome!

BTW, this mod ROCKS. It's far more polished than anything I've seen. Great work.

What's really bad is that I've come across a couple of other clues while looking (stuff on a newsboard, a guy in a bar with no affiliation). I'm afraid to follow up on them because I don't want to skip ahead in the hunt, so I'm just ignoring them, hoping to find the one to do with the wreck. Hopefully someone can spare a clue to get me started at square one.

Well...I found him, but it was from a separate clue I stumbled accross. I guess I was interpreting the first clue wrong.

The name of the base I found him on has letters that are not in the ship name, loot name, or either ship type name (since the ship in the info and what you see in space differ I tried it with both). Actually I'm not sure what the connection is.

The clue I used to find him is a news item on a base close to the first clue, but in a different system :}. As I said, I just stumbled accross this while base-hopping after giving up on a cerebral solution (I had even tried all the bases where he might have obtained his "loot".

Giskard, if you see this, please forgive me if I'm giving too much away. Also please give me a hint if I missed something and should go back to the first clue.

Scratch that. Right guy, but no info for me. Maybe I skipped something by using that other clue...I'll just wait and hope that someone who knows what's going on sheds some light on this.

As Plasma said, I just need a hint, not the answer, so TIA for whatever help anyone can provide. I'll shutup now.

Found him as well, but same no info for me and like you i've found other clues but don't want to follow them up.

Giskard if you catch this thread a little hint for those of us that are not worthy and don't have a brain the size of a planet.

Location,Wreck, Loot --------
main thing is Criptic -- part of the loot =location
part of wreck plus main Area = base
if u write all the infomation down in front of you
you'll find it
