idea: nomad interceptor campaign

idea: nomad interceptor campaign

I just d/l the FLMM yesterday and i was surprised to see that it already came with a whole bunch of mods for you to toy around with. I tried the nomad fighter mod, and played the first five missions with the nomad fighter. i absolutely loved it, those nomad lasers KICK ASS.

I was thinking. with all this campaign experimenting lately (ie. Startracker Campaign, Bloodhound Campaign) someone should really try the campaign with a nomad fighter. it would be challenging, since although the nomad guns can really slaughter they fire really slowly (1.00) and, oh yeah, the nomad fighter has no shields. thats the reason i dont want to do this myself, i dont like the thought of playing the entire campaign with a sheildless ship, when i havent even beat the campiagn with normal human ships (damn hovis).

So. Would someone be interested in trying this?

i'm now doing the campaign in a defender...

I think this is an interesting idea. The Interceptor is too powerful for the early missions but its lack of regeneration (no shield) should make some of the later missions rather challenging ...

@ BZ, if you cannot understand a question, just ask. I am sure we can find somebody who is able to explain it to you.
