i need help with zoners

does anyone have any ideas on how to get a good rep with the zoners?? i have looked at bribe lists and cant see anything to do with the zoners. i read somewhere that having a good rep with the xenos helps, but that isnt working. and its a pain in the ass not being able to dock with any freeport stations.

Bribes, see the stickies for places to get them.
Zoners are a mistery to most of us. You get a bad rep with them for no given reason (it says in the discription they are neutral to everyone.
Though rumors may clear the fog around the misty zoners. They got something going woth the Corsairs I beleve.

i have looked at alot of different rep + bribe lists, and they all show that if you want to get on the good side of the zoners you have to dock with a zoner base and ask for them to put a good word in, which is hard, since they fire at me if i go anywhere near them.

anyways, i'll have to try getting good with the corsairs, if you think that may help, though this might ruin my status with the hessians which wouldnt go well with the trading i do with them

Some of the places on the above list do not help with zoners

Here are some facts: Zoners and Xenos have some strange working relationship. If you kill enough Xenos enemies, like Outcasts or Liberty good guys [pick a side, you can dock at their bases even if you are slightly hostile to them. Pay the bribe for the Zoners at either Nome base in Kepler B5/5.7, or Quray base in Colorado (but you won't get both).
NOTE if you land on the base and the bartender will not offer you a bribe for Zoners, you must leave the base (not just the bar) re land and check again. Do this untill it is offered.

Zoner bribes are the most common I've found outside of security force ones, they don't seem to harm you're rep with any other faction though... which is nice

Ay, if you wanna get green with a Zoner, stay clear and dock with there bases and bribe to hell... Never knew why they slowly went red with you anyway, they have no allies or enemies.... Just one of lifes little mysteries

Zoners have a secret relationship with the Red Hessians, so when you kill the reds, it eventually sours the zoners. Easiest solution is to rep hack by paying bribes early, the same with the bounty hunters and the corsairs (i.e. fly corsair missions, pay bounty hunter bribes).

You can get a Zoner Bribe at Yanagi Depot in Sigma 13. That is the closest place that there is a bribe where a Zoner bribe is useful for anything at all. ie. Getting your Eagle at Freeport 9. After that, the zoners are nearly useless.

I've had lots of trouble getting Zoner bribes and found this works:

If the bartender is a no-go, check out the other bar patrons!
In a place where Zoner bribes should work, I usually get it from them.
Nice thing about those guys/gals is you can get new ones just by going
to the commodities & back, NOT undocking/docking!

The only thing good to be friendly with the zoners is the eagle and omicron protection plus omega protection

Not sure what you mean by omicron & omega protection, I assume you mean a friendly place to dock.
Ya, Zoner guns aren't as good as GMG guns, but I often buy their other things, like minedroppers.
The thing to keep in mind is NOBODY hates Zoners, so no downside at all to being green with them.
I once got BH just barely pissed at me, and I hate BH hostile as those pests are everywhere .
A Zoner bribe bumped them neutral again. Same can happen with GMG, IMG, Hackers, Unioners, & Xenos.
