Depends on who you're fighting.
If you look at the stats of the shield, you see what the shield protects the best.

True, for SP. Since he has a clan I assume he means MP, where you would lose unmounted stuff,
so not carry shields to swap. In MP you want Graviton up to class 7, since it has a lot more capacity.
In class 6: Graviton=3143, Positron/Molecular=2360

Also, in MP Nomad and CODENAME guns are common; they don't have shield type preferences.

Confirmed class 6 at Naha, and lots of places in Hokkaido too.

i mostly go to the researche station in kyushu and buy the class 6 graviton shield

but still, the graviton shield is about 120% a positron/molecular shield, but the weaps for good/normal/worse agains is 130%/100%/70%...

Thank you, i don't mean SP i find it boring after you do everything really. I'm talking about multiplayer =). This is mainly for those pesky Corsairs and the such. Thanks for the replies y'all =).

Thanks for the Kyushu location! Are you sure about that 130/100/70?
Someone told me it's a 20% difference. Graviton is weak Vs. Plasma and Particle,
but Plasma is a joke so only real worry is Outcast guns.
