Special Shield?

I notice that the corsair and the bounty hunter are using lv 10 shield. Thought they are different in terms of types, but they have shield capacity of over 10k. i am using a Class 10 Shield but only have 8000+ shield capacity.

I also notice that The corsairs shield do not have a specific type for ships, i.e H.F, F.R, L.F etc.
They just have the name. Look similar to to one i using but the word H.F (meaning it for Heavy Fighter) is not there. Just the name, nothing else. I was wondering if thats only apply to those AI ships or are buyable?

The NPC shields have a regeneration rate of 1 and the capacity of the normal light fighter shields (no distinction between LF/HF/Fr types). They are not lootable but since they have virtually no regen there is no reason to want one.

Shields that are not available for players in the unmodded game:
o class 9 graviton (Champion)
o class 10 graviton (Adv. Champion)
o class 10 molecular (Adv. Barrier)

All NPC's have shields with a regen of 1, that is discounted, if you could get the Adv. Champion shield, it would have a better recharge rate, but one more time, it just isn't dropped in an Unmodded game, so forget about it.

P.S. Do a search of topics before you ask a question like this, someone else asks it every two days and it gets kind of annoying when you don't even bother to look a little before you post.

I don't recall ever tractoring in any kind of a shield. Apparently, shields aren't recoverable.

They're not Puke, except in some mods, like Rebalance

why doesn't someone make a mod making all shields buyable (use the offical guide to see, it has a list)

Yeah, but everything from the Order is cheap. You can buy a great ship (Anubis) for $1,100!!!!!!
