For a banshee, I'd go with either:
a Debilitator, and 3 Sunblast Bs
or
4 Dublin Duster 3's/Disinfectors

Sunblasts aren't the most efficient of weapons, but they provide a real kick once their shields go down..

I agree, GMG guns plus Debilitator is probably the best loadout for the Banshee. The class 7 Disinfectors are not bad but the class 6 Pyros Type 3 or Adv. Tarantula do more damage and cost only half that.

A good alternative is class 6/7 Angelitos plus the class 7 Rapier. The Angelitos do almost as much damage as the GMG guns but they are noticably more efficient.

Getting the GMG guns + Debilitator shouldn't be too difficult, though. And for the other stuff all you need is at most $150k for bribing the Corsairs or the Outcasts, which is a very good investment in any case. Or prey on certain pirates for a while (Red Hessians are my favourites for this) to adjust your rep sheet while getting a bit of combat experience with your current ship and stinking rich to boot. I am doing just that right now with an Anubis because I have not flown that ship since my first time through the campaign ...
