I heard the one about the outcast shooting the rogue who made a stupid comment about the "mask" too.

I also heard one about an Outcast and Corsair love. This one was on the news board of a station. An Outcast man and Corsair women (was it the other way around?) were sitting at a table talking in a junker base I believe.

I also heard one about 3 outcasts blasting 8 xenos. That was at the junker base in Texas I think.

Did anyone read the rumors that explained the "Texas Jumpgate Explosion"?

Yeah I did. From what I could tell they were trying to build a jumpgate, possibly to California as thats where the jump hole leads to. Unfortunately the jumpgate tunnel thing passed through a dark matter(?) anomaly. Somehow this caused the jumpgate to backfire and explode spewing out dark matter and destroying all life in the system. This lead to the construction of the Kepler and Galileo systems to ensure that jumpgate tunnel things between Liberty and Kusari didnt go through any dark matter from the Kuryo anomaly.

This might be it: Ageria predicted that a dark matter storm would pass through kepler, effectively cutting that system off entirely. They made an expensive bunch of jumpgates and tradelanes through gallileo. (But, strangely enough, the dark matter storm hadn't passed yet.)

If my memory serves me correctly, doesn't Ageria Technologies have a contract with all of the house governments to construct trade lanes and jump gates throughout Sirius? If so, it probably realized that the people of Liberty could easliy be exploited to gain a little... start up income. Since Ageria is probably a Liberty company (due to the fact that Liberty was established in the year 0001 A.S., and they needed a way to get around) Ageria might have needed extra money to expand, therefore, they "predicted" a dark matter storm would come through Kepler to squeeze a few more credits out of the Liberty Government. And since the houses pay Ageria to construct trade lanes, it makes sense.

Some people think coincidence, I think conspiricy. That's my job.

Has anyone run across the explanation for the L. A. debris field?

Its probably just another random debris field that has no point to it. Actually I cant think of any other debris fields that have no point (no bases, jumpholes etc). Looks like the LA debris field is unique.

on leeds i heard about this women or alien thing i can' remember(sounded like she had 4 legs) it said she dumped someone because * they made the deal of a lifetime * person said the boneheads name was well you guessed our one and only(continues for five hours) Mr.Ed or Edison Or Mr.Edison or just TREANT (left out a few) weird also heard this one about cloaking one of the other governments(didn't specify) actually managed to get cloaking devices to work but it took the power of ten battleship cores there was one about the wotan and unity and other story stuff.
