Vac-Suiting

Ok, im just curious here, and im pretty sure that one would simply well, pop.

But, the corsirs, and others, claim that a corsir torture is to place people in vac suits, tied to ships and towed through a jump hole. I dont quite see why this would kill the person, but not the ship. Any thoughts?

The ships are made of "super alloy" (I believe it was called) or something of the sort. What this means, is they are made of stuff designed to withstand some of the worst conditions known to man. Bottom line: the ships have really strong hull and shields; and (guess what) the human does not.

What's a vac suit anyway?

If I'm to torture somebody I won't even bother going through all that trouble... I'll just tie the guy to my ship in his T-shirt and shorts then launch!

Vac as in vacum. You put on the suit to clean your carpets.
