About pirates , Rep and other things

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

About pirates , Rep and other things

Hello!
My name is David and I have a couple of questions about freelancer

1. Is there any way I can get the Titan without being friendly with crosairs or whoever holds that ship? cuz they really hate me and it would take endless rep hacks to be friendly with them and even if , I won't be able to land on all the major planets hold by the police(Manhattan , Berlin etc.)
2.In every weapon there is a energy factor. Means how much energy does it require. How can I check my ship's energy amount?
3. Can I buy those huge 200000 cargo ships? If not , what's the best there is boughtable?

Thank you and have a nice day!

Welcome to TLR, Kurt/David!

1. You only have to be neutral with a faction to buy a ship.
To get neutral with corsairs without p1ssn off _all_ of Sirius,
hunt Mollys in Dublin and/or Red Hessians.

2. Mostly trial & error. Ships have an optimal and max power rating. A Defender
is 2/4 meaning average gun should be level 2 but it'll mount level 4.
You can mix & match guns, but if your average gun level is 4 instead of 2,
you will run out of juice too fast.

3. No. Humpback @ 250 and Dromedary @ 275 are top of the line, without mods.

I believe these are their major bases:

Freital Base/Omega 11 - C4
Vogtland Base/Dresden - D3

O.. and about this:

You only need one rephack to be friends with them.. It'll probebly cost you about 150000,-

Well tnx I'm now a proud owner of the titan along with some 10 lev guns.
last question
Is there any quick way from new tokyo to new berlin? cuz I trade diamonds a lot and a 50 waypoint journey to each side is really depressing

Nope.. no shortcuts I'm afraid.

I think you should find a shorter trade route. Search around in the forums.. there've been alot of topics like: "what's the best trade route"
I couldn't tell you myself. Because I don't do alot of trading.

If you don't mind hauling Contraband, Cardamine from Yanagai Depot-New Berlin, and then Engine Components from New Berlin-Yanagai Depot, is supposedly hands down, THE best trade route out there...

but it still goes thru some scanning

Kurt,

Is there any quick way from new tokyo to new berlin?

From what I recall the trading route I take from N. Tokyo to N. Berlin is shorter than 50 waypoints - you may be doing this route already but just in case...

Assuming you're playing single player (SP) you can take the trade lanes and jumpgates to Sigma 13 from N. Tokyo (N.Tokyo - Honshu - Sigma 13) and then use the N.Berlin jump hole in sector C5 of Sigma 13. You will emerge near a trade lane close to Planet New Berlin. Watch out for Red Hessains though - they are always patrolling near the jump hole.

I'm pretty sure the N. Berlin jump hole is not active in Multi Player.

ok another question
I always wanted to see those monkey and robots planets , I think they're called gammu and primus correct me if I wrong
How do I get there?

Remember the system where you got that Titan? go to the NE part of the map, you'll enter a green nebula with artifacts mineable. Well continue throuhg it near but slightly off center. YOu'll find a lot of wrecks round a Jumphole, use the jumphole. Watch out for nomads which hit MUCH harder than in the sp campaign.
