i never had nomad torps, but in rebalce i had nomad cruise disruptor

they use no ammo, only energy

If you want it in a modded game you should buy voyager, it comes with a nomad torpedolauncher. And you don't need any ammo for it!

Interesting thing about nomad torps...I've been hit with a few... They seem to hit you twice.
