1. Buy a Patriot to get you to the Baracuda or Dragon
2. Then to Honshu Amoroi station get the lvl 6 shield
3. enter Sigma 19 to use the Omicron Beta jump hole{on the way there check the wrecks as theres decent weaponary there}

version a:
4. chicken run through Beta to the Alpha jump hole
5. from Alpha to the Theta jump hole, buy the Eagle, get a corsair hack
6. go to Gamma get the lvl10 shield, buy some rep if needed for weapons

version b:
4. from sigma 13 use the jump hole to sigma 17 - beware Gas pockets can easily kill your shields might be easier for you to do version a, unless your not good at avoiding Outcasts
5. then to Theta jump hole etc
6. as above.

That should at most cost you 2mil, unless you waste money on bribes.

buy the white star cruiser in norfolk shipyard

in unmodded version, just easiest route is (sigma-13 -> sigma-17 -> omicron theta)

or if trou outcast (tau-23 -> tau-37 -> omicron alpha -> omicron theta)

or trou corsair (omega-11 -> omega-41 -> omicron theta)

If someone donated me 5 mil, then I would donate 2.5 mil to some newb, to see what he'll do with it...


Careful what you wish... You might just get it.

I'll fly straight to omicron theta with the starflier via Kusari space and sigma 19, stopping on the way to pick up an advanced countermeasure launcher, advanced thruster, and a level 3 shield. Been there done that.

Here is my suggestion : (No Mods) -> final aim being gettting The Titan from Planet Crete

1.First get the Defender from Battle ship Missouri in NY
2.Get Lancerthing 1.07 or FLDataStorm , Basically a good map
3. Use the map to get to planet crete
Hints (JumpHole areas):
A - Go to Omega-11
B - Then to Omega-41
C - Then to Omicron Gamma
4. Obviously, Buy Better ships along the way, defeder wont survive until Crete
5.Use freeports to Bribe, they are the Perrfect Place (Bcoz everyone is allowed).
Bribe especially to be good for Corsairs (Planet Crete is Corsair Base).
If u dont get a Bribe for them, exit bar and go to other rooms, then re-enter
for new ppls......If that still dont work, exit freeport and redock......keep
trying till u get a Corsair Bribe!
6.Get to crete and buy titan will all good upgrades.....explore using the toughest ship in the game !!!!!!!!
7. U might wanna try eagle intsead buyable at a freeport i think (dont remember)

This takes probably an hour to get an Eagle. I had an eagle with only 5 kills total on it. 2 fighters and 3 transports.

1== Fly starflyer to Honshu buy hawk/baraccuda etc. and upgrade weapons and shields.
2== Fly to Sigma 19.
3== Dock at Gas Mines station incase you die.
4== Kill GMG(Gas Mines Guild) until Corsairs are neutral. This made me neutral with Corsairs,Outcasts, and I think Red Hessians as well, while still being neutral with GMG.
4== Fly to Theta and buy Eagle from Freeport 9.

Next you want Weapons and shields.

5== Fly to Gamma buy class10 shield from Crete. (Rep should be ok to buy it.)
6== Fix rep better with corsairs if you want weapons from Gamma. Try the station and planet bars to bribe. Or kill some bountyhunters in the area.
7== After you buy. you can get nomads if you want them. Jump into the unknown from Gamma and kill nomads. They drop nomads weapons occasionally.

Well I think that's it. Can't think of anymore. Works fast as hell though.

Shoot. Now I have done it without doing anything except buy an Eagle. Just fly straight there and buy it. But to get the shield, you should do as Freeklancer said and shoot the storage depots at Manhattan if that makes you neutral with Corsairs.

It won't make you neutral with corsairs, but it will make you neutral with outcasts, who also sell class 10 shields.

I'd reject the money.
If I was starting a new character, I'd be doing it for the challenge of working my way up.

I'd fly to Friestadt Outpost in Omega-7, buy a Hammerhead, head to Gas Miner Naha in Sigma-13 and load up with 3 Skyblast B's and 2 Skyblast A's, work over to freeport 10 in Tau-37 to get an outcast bribe, head to Malta in Omicron Alpha and buy a class 9 Brigandine HF shield, cannonball launcher, Hornet cruise disrupter, advanced countermeasures, advanced thruster, and a full load of shield batts/nano bots.
