High risk missions?

How can I get to those really high risk and well paying jobs? highest level I've seen was a 39 from Creteand Malta paying up to $140,000. Yet I hear stories of people taking level 43 missions paying as much as $300,000. Where can I find them, or what do I have to do to be able to embark on them? Both Corsairs and Outcasts love me as much as possible, yet the difficulty level of those jobs never reached 40. Help?

You get Freindly with any of the main edge factions{Outcast/Corsair} and then do there missions. The difficlutly and price will increase as you do more.

One thing to note, sometimes its not the job board that has the best missions but the NPC's in the bar.

find those missions on:

Outcasts : Omicron Alpha - Planet Malta , Omicron Beta - Ruiz Base {NB those are against GMG you better be good pilot}
Corsairs : Omicron Gamma - Planet Crete , Ship Yard

anyone think it's pretty strange that you can accept missions for level 42+ but can't actually attain that status?
