Planet Primus...maybe something new!

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Planet Primus...maybe something new!

I've been flying around chatting to people and also reading a little about the planet info, And I may have discovered something.
If you click on the "?" for planet primus it states info for Planet Junyo, Now it states in this info that the Kusari found some old alien organisms and used this ancient lifeform to terraform Planet Junyo, Now if this is true, What if the Alien organisms they discovered were actually an ancient culture possibly the Don Kavash or even early man, This could mean that they also used this alien lifeform in an attempt at terraforming Planet Primus.
Thus Planet primus is actually a colony of early man, considering they are "apes in suits" it would seem that the apes have become intelligent "beings" but have not evolved (yet) into the representation that we know as Man.

Just a theory!

I saw something new in the Planet primus system too, While using my cruise engines to evade the nomads and take some screenshots,
I saw something I've never seen before,
I was travelling on cruise towards the "fake sun" when a small asteroid hit the front of my ship, Now normally, And I've seen this a thousand times before, the small rock would have bounced off my shield and go spinning into space Behind me, BUT this rock bounced off my shield and went spinning AHEAD of me, Considering I was travelling forward at that time, And the rock was also travelling forward was well weird, This is the first time, In the game, I've seen anything defie the laws of physics, Generally the game has been fairly true to physics (I guess!) But this was so cool a thing to happen that I spent hours trying to recreate the same thing in the "monkey system" but it never happened again. Well Weird!
Now No flames please about the game and The laws of physics, That is not what my post is about.
Its about seeing something that made my "jaw hit the floor" cos it was so cool and something I certainly was'nt expecting.
Thx! for reading.

I'm going to say this as kindly as I can (in this state of mind). Please read: This thread of mine should have been a sticky....

'Whew, DO NOT GO IN THERE!"
-just working off your ace ventura idea.

To the buddy who started this topic consider this * * * FLAME * * *.
Feelin scorched? Huh? You like that? If you're gonna talk about physics then talk about the laws of themodynamics huh, lord knows that nobody has discussed that yet.

Sorry, it's just a slow day.

Ok! forget about the physics bit, anyway what do I know about travelling through space, Zilch!
But what I saw with the asteroid, I considered something new and worth sharing, But obviously you guys have been here far too long to care about something like that and consider anyone new offering anything to the forum a "total noob", Well new to this forum I may be, But a little common courtesy goes a long way!
Remember you were once noobs here yourself, And either the people already here welcomed you and your new postings or they shunned you as if you were Idiots, I don't know, and frankly I wonder why I bother.

If it makes you feel better, I saw the same thing once while mining silver in Colorado. I shot it anyway, but didn't get any silver.

The thing that made me think "ah, cool" is all the backgrounds to the systems. They never look like empty space, which although not really accurate, makes it a pleasure to travel round the systems. Except for the dense clouds - yesterday I was cruising round Omicron Theta and flew straight into Planet Vespus 'cos the clouds were so thick I didn't see it. He he, how I laughed.

@oni_666: No real excuse, it's just that people are getting a bit annoyed with the ever-repeating threads...

Remember you were once noobs here yourself

I still am a newb ( regardless of my rank -- it was gained by spamming anyway ). My reaction proves that...
Sorry, but I couldn't help laughing... Two reasons:
1. Maswastage is going to explode real soon if he doesn't stop reading about "new" discoveries...
2. You actually thought that 4 months aren't enough time to turn a game upside-down.
Anyway, you should try to feel welcome here... Because you are welcome. (as long as you don't go attacking everyone and everything). Don't let this misunderstanding get in the way...

bleh. I'm being mis-judged left and right. I simply mean that this is not something new. You entitled your thred as "this may be something new" and this irritated me because I had clearly stated that this was not new in the thread I had linked. To put it simply, I was just in a bad mood. I didn't mean to be rude. I apologize. There. Just please, make sure you aren't repeating any of those topics, because I assure you that there are those out there who won't be as friendly as Chet and myself

I've certainly never seen it proposed that primus was terraformed by kusari. As has been pointed out in other treads there is unlikely to be much 'new' stuff around as we have now ripped the whole game to shreds and been over them with a fine toothed comb, different angles on things are the best we can hope for and they should be encouraged.

Oh, and mas '...I assure you that there are those out there who won't be as friendly as Chet and myself...' LOL if TLR was a bar you and chet would be the two heavies sitting at the back, possibly clutching things concealed in your leather trenchcoats, your drinks being mysteriously topped up automatically by the bartenders Dont be having me court marshalled for insubordination now....

Post Sun Jun 22, 2003 11:38 pm

LOL!

I have to say that I've never been described like that before. hehe. But no, really. I'm a nice guy! Really! What, you don't believe me?

Post Mon Jun 23, 2003 12:13 am

@redeye: We wont court marshall you... Well, at least not untill you're alone... We don't want so many people watching... BTW, my court marshall just got a new set of shiny .44 caliber bullets...

Chetnik, I was just saying how nice w were. You don't want to imply otherwise, do you? (we'l get 'im later )

The unknown systems are actually quite unfinished, considering all the missing infocard entries, the "generic-ness" of the planets, and the repair icon on Gammu that doesn't work.

Pinkie Epsilon 5, you are just obsessed with thermodynamics aren't you? Hell, my Thermo II / Heat Transfer exam is on monday and I don't want to hear that word EVER AGAIN afterwards!!!
