another way onto planets

I have seem people saying how rubbish it is only having one docking ring or landing pad and so on but there is another way onto planets. Both Planet Plygar (zoner's planet? sinclair found the Dom cavosh atifact here) and planet Gaia (both say limited access in there desciptions) in edinbourgh can be got to just not from docking rings. I dodn't know what the other way is.

Looking in freelancers file's it looks like planet plygar is the same as planet sprauge.

You can't dock on a planet without a docking ring, probably so the programmers wouldnt have to do the graphics and flight models or whatever required for a manual landing.

As for the planets you mentioned, maybe they will be used in a sequel/expansion pack? Who knows?

These are also mensioned on the inhabited plants list on the system information you can get on your nav map.

yup agreed, the zoners planet too, but strangely can't land on it cause theres no docking ring.
