Unused Trade Lane ?

I've looked around, and dont seem to find anyone else with this topic, so i hope im not wasting space on a something you guys already covered.

I found a trade lane that seems fully intact, but unoperational. Its in the Matsuo Cloud in the Kepler system, running north/south on the E/F grid. I first ran into it at 3-E/F and followed it, but cannot dock. Anyone else seen this, or know what it is ???

maybe you didn't smash the "dock" button hard enough. try bringing your face one inch away from the monitor, then you might just end up seeing it.

I have seen it, but it does not work. It may be a work in progress, or it may have been abandoned for some reason.

He's right, I saw that one, while mapping out the whole game, I found several rings in a dark matter cloud. But I couldn't select them at all, and they did look pretty battered...

The dark matter clouds move around the system (well they're supposed to) so they probabaly abandoned that lane long ago when a cloud drifted onto it.

Maybe it's a battered, jacked up, Lane Hacked Trade Lane like the one near the Hovis race track taking you to the Glorious, which you can't use that trade lane.

Go listen to some rumors from the Zoners on Ames Research Station. The trade lane was engulfed in a dark matter storm many years pre game time. A few ships got caught in the storm, and their remains are out there too... close to the wrecked trade lanes
