You should look me up sometime, I'm well known as the only guy on Browclops who flies a Centurion.
I actually have 5 accounts, and not one Class 10 fighter among them.
But, I must take exception to what you said about the Centurion and why people pass it up.
Common myth: The Centurion is significantly more maneuverable than a Titan/Sabre.
* NO, it is not. The Centurion has a maximum turn speed of 60 deg/s, just like the Titan and Sabre. What it DOES have is a slightly improved angular acceleration, so it feels a little peppier.
The Hammerhead and the Eagle share similar characteristics, 80 deg/s maximum rotational speed, and peppy angular acceleration.
But hey, most folks in Eagles never learn how to take true advantage of their speed, being that they end up fighting against other Eagles all the time. So it's not difficult at all to beat an Eagle pilot with a well-equipped Centurion.
But I do wish you got SOMETHING special, something that would make the Centurion worth owning. True, the cross-sectional target area is smaller than the Titan, but it's not TINY like the Legionairre. The power is good, but I wouldn't expect anything less of a 450k fighter.
Why couldn't they have made it the same rotatational speed as the Legionairre (75 deg/s )? This is the same problem that plagues the Stiletto, the HFs in the series are as slow as the VHFs, so people just wait for the big boys or buy something else.
