Faction Preferences

Has anyone run across a database that details the type of weapons (photon, etc.) the various factions use?

If you had that info it would be fun to plan equipping yourself with the best shields and counter weapons against any given faction.

i know that corsair uses tizona del cid and neutron blasters

neutron blasters - best against molucolar shields
tizona del cid - best against positron shields

I haven't seen anything like that but it's a good idea, I've died too many times from equipping the wrong shield type.

What I thought a rule was - each faction uses the shield that protects best against the weapons they use, but I am no longer sure of that.

the most comon is that a faction have shields that r the best against their worst enemy, that would be some cooler, other wise u must get first peace with some1 u hate

that way i must get peace with bounty hunters again, i like to kill them...

and i don't think it will be a good idea at all....

co'z some have war with almost every1, and they must have a very good shield, but that shield must cost a lot...

Umm...actually, there is already such a list.

Check out the sticky that I wrote at the top of this forum...

Even though the title says reputation stuff, it also contains info on what each faction use for their weapons, as well as their shields. It does not cover every single case (you may find the odd enemy or two using different weaps and/or shield combo), but it is accurate in a "general" sense.

if ur atack bounty hunters u can use the molecular shield the best...

the bounty hunters particular cannon is best against graviton and weakest agianst molecular
the bounty hunters laser gun is best against positron and weakest against graviton

just use the cl10 adv brigadine shield as it protects well against most weapon fire

Yes there IS a database where you can find all the ships, all the systems, all the bases, all the factions, all the jumpholes etc.

I found it in here, Lancers Reactor. I dont remember exact name but it is here somewhere...
