Question on the Dromedary

Hey all new to the forum good to be here.

I had a quick question. I just got into Bretonia space and I am at level 8. I really want to buy the Dromedary ship at Mactan base but I need to get my rep up to level 10. I cant go back to the Magellan system where the mactan base is via leeds. Can I get to Magellan through another jump hole that is open at that time. Is there anything I can do? I really want the Dromedary because I hate the Bretonian ships.

I think you need to fly another Juni mission before you hit level 10. Levels and reputations have nothing to do with each other. Why exactly can’t you get to Magellan? Have you tried going through Manchester?

Well I can get my rep to 10 that is no problem. However, the Leeds to magellan jump gate is closes so well the manchetser gate be closed as well?

ok.. here is what i did.. I got the hv fighter you can get on the battleship york in the Stokes system.. then continue doing what ever till Juni calls you too go on a archaeology field trip.. when your done you will be lvl 10 possibly 11 if you got the credits..

Well its a bit tricky to actually get back the the Macten base.. you see the lane hackers like you and the outcasts do not they have and alliance.. so its a race to dock before the whole place goes hostile on you.. you might have to reload a couple of times.. i got lucky i got into the docking sequence before all hell broke loose so i got to land.. but i didnt have the creds to hack my rep up to the outlaw factions.. i needed it to buy the Dromedary and have enough to start tradeing.

you need to try and get your reputation with the outcasts to at least neutral if you dont you will have a hard time trying to land on Mactan base... if you look in your reputation report you will see that the Outcasts and Lane Hackers have an alliance.. And the fact that the Outcast patrol all around that base you can see why it might be difficult to get back to that base..

Yeah I understand but I think I might be able to outrun them. So I can make it to magellan via manchester and it wont be locked?

... That's not his point. If the Outcasts see you it will turn the Lane Hackers hostile and you won't be able to land.

Hmmm I see. It really sucks the Drmoedary isnt sold anywhere else.

possibly the gate is lock because you are in a sp mission..
