Watch the original intro movie. Sol is pretty much wiped out. The Nomads blow up the sun and it Nova's all of Sol except for 1 survivor on the far side of Pluto. Get your stories straight all you people that think the Coalition is coming back or your going back to Sol. The planets in Sol all look like planet Chrisos (???) In Texas. I'm tired of hearing about people saying the Coalition is going to come back and attack Sirius. Besides, Sol has like no resources to live 800 years. Once again, from the intro. 800 YEARS TOOK PLACE AFTER THE ALLAINCE LAUNCHED THE SLEEPER SHIPS! I don't think a civilazation could live that long with waning resources.

Hey, smartass, they never even used that intro in the game. It isn't official.

The orignal intro dosn't matter, the one that was shipped with the game is the one that counts. Thats it, thats all.

Even if the sun went supernova, which is practically impossible due to it's size, the average supernova would easily eat up the entire solar system. There would be nothing left of even pluto.

The unofficial intro is cool as sin. That said, don't count on there being no other survivors from our solar system. If the Alliance thought to launch sleeper ships, why couldn't the Coalition have the same thought? And since the Alliance was losing the war, they WOUDN'T EVEN KNOW if the Coalition had launched sleeper ships to colonize far-away star systems. Maybe the Coalition launched theirs in a different direction, which is why there hasn't been contact for 800 years. Besides...

YOU CAN'T KEEP RUSSIANS DOWN FOREVER!!! Ya just can't!!! Somewhere out there is the sleeper ship Tsaritsyn...I just know it ;-)

YOU HAVE ALL HEAD OF BACK STORYS RIGHT?!?!

The reason the order existed was because the sol event happened, jesus, get it straight.

The coalition general got away from pluto and reported the incadent, and the order formed after that preparing to combat this enemy.

ITS RIGHT IN THE MAIN STORYLINE.. for god sakes.

I don't recall any Order personnel ever mentioning Sol.

Heck, wasn't the Order founded by Orillion? He's not 800 years old.

The Order was formed to combat the Nomads with whom first contact for the Sirians occured when the RHIENLANDERS "released" them on that uncharted cache of artifacts.

Besides, if the sun did go supernova 800yrs ago, you'd a thought there would have been several rumors about it, as it sure wouldn't take 800yrs for the light from the supernova to reach the Sirius sector.

Alright, you do realize that most mainstream gamers aren't going to come to this fansite and scrounge through the downloads to find this, do you? They'll probably just play single player, have some fun, wait for the sequel. They never saw the old intro and that's probably how Digital Anvil wants it.
