Cardamine is bad for your health, as is Kurile. You become addicted to them (No! Not to the planet! Just living on it!).

always those bad things about drugs

I don´t have problems with these few parts per thousand remainder blood in the cardamine running through my veins.

If newbies don't post, and older wiser people don't reply, and topics aren't repeated .. isn't this forum going to die. I can't wait to help some newbie when I graduate and know more. I found it really interesting to ask a question and get ten different opinions. It's wierd that there are people who say this topic's old, worn out, but then everyone has a different idea or take on it. I've used combinations of advice very sucessfully. Some day there will be nothing to spoil/help with and this forum will be no more..... and my evening/after work (11pm) reading session will be gone. RIP forum if the kill off the topic angle is taken on by many................

How about people being encouraged to be specific in their title, so older bored or arrogant players can pick and choose what they read, let's face it you choose to reply now to something it's your own free choice .. there's no Drail at your head. Thank you to the unpretentious crew who continue day in day out to enhance the game by helping out newbies ... without you this game would be a lot less fun.

@Maswastage: Well, it was a noble effort anyway

@Jat71: I was thinking exactly the same thing. Pretty much everything has been covered at least a few dozen times. This means we can either look at recycled posts as spam, or we can look at them as the only thing worth discussing anymore. The newbie/veteran mentor dynamic is the primary fuel for conversation on the forums, without that, we don't have anything interesting to talk about that hasn't been said before.

Okay okay. Very nice work maswastage/BG (and others)

Sticky. (This all should be in our FAQ section, I just don't have the time anymore)

A small request to Chetnik and maswastage/BG, not a demand. When someone posts more than once in the same thread, it's generally good practice to include your signature only once. It shows some class I guess.

Talk about surprise blow... (no, not that kind you perverts)
I never would've guessed that you'd listen and make this a sticky...
It feels kinda odd, too. Too bad maswastage isn't here right now to see this...
BTW, Stinger, I stopped posting multiple graphic sigs some time ago, this is the "old times legacy" (I'm so full of it, aren't I?)
Maybe locking the therad after maswastage comes back, and replies to this is in order?

@Chetnik , maybe is maswastage gone away for the in his eyes old topic turn into newer topics... so he don't come here anymore to c what happends in this topic.... uhm... spoiler forum

Well, I'd like to have seen the answers to all of these things in the FAQ.

Any chance you can finish not just the list, but the details and put them in the FAQ section?

The other big question must be "how to locate saved game files when they disappear?" i.e. I just upgraded to XP Professional from Win98 and when I clicked on Freelancer (ok, I renamed the Icon Privateer) I ended up in a game with no saved game files.

That's because Freelancer uses Windows Registry... The savegames were located in the ...\My Documents\My Games\Freelancer, but the defauld 'My documents' folder in XP is %homedrive%\Docuiments And Settings\%username%\%username%'s Documents (where homedrive is the drive(partition) where you installed XP, and %username% is your logon username). so just find the old My Documents, and move the My Games\Freelancer to the 'new' My Documents
Well... maybe you understood..
