Multiplayer Jump Gates?

Does anyone know how to unlock the Jumpgates in Multiplayer? do you have to have a key or something, for example the jumpgate next to Mactan base in magellan that leads to New York, How do I open it?

Some jumphole/gates are dissabled in MP. If it's locked it more than likely cannot be used.

If I had a nickel for every time someone told me that my idea for melting down coins to make a giant robotic parrot was a bad idea, I would have one kicka$$ giant robotic parrot.
